Argentina Travel
Why travel all the way to Chile and not cross the border to Argentina while you are there? Situated on the eastern side of the southern chain of the Andes mountains, Argentina is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean. The second largest country in South America it is made up of 23 provinces with the autonomous city of Buenos Aires at its financial, political, commercial and economic hub.

Patagonia straddles both Chile and Argentina. It is very easy to cross between Chile and Argentina and visitors to Chile frequently fly into Buenos Aires and cross over. Likewise, visitors to Argentina can do the same by flying into Santiago.

It is consequently very possible to start or end most of the BlueGreen Patagonia trips in el Calafate and take either a private transfer over the border or use the adequate public bus service between el Calafate and Puerto Natales.

BlueGreen is very happy to organize trips in Argentina for clients wishing to extend their Chile holiday or combine Chile and Argentina for a more in depth South American adventure.

Choose from a four day trip to the Perito Moreno Glacier and Los Glaciares National Park or a four day visit to Ushuaia and Tierra del Fuego. Tag on an extension to the lively and exciting city of Buenos Aires or arrange a stay at a luxury estancia or polo ranch. Visit the impressive Iguassu Falls or spend a few days in the alpine city of Bariloche, famous for its chocolate.

Like Chile, Argentina is a very special destination in South America. Crammed full of culture, excellent food and wine, lively cosmopolitan cities, cute mountain villages, fantastic national parks, world class hiking and just about any outdoor activity it never fails to disappoint.
