Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Bike to Canadon Macho. Hike to Refugio Chileno
Arrive into Puerto Natales the night before the trip starts.

After breakfast transfer from Puerto Natales to Laguna Azul (driving time 2 hours approximately). We will have time to eat a snack before getting ready to ride. The trail starts off as a smooth narrow track with great views of the Towers of Paine. Some of the best photo opportunities are within the first few miles of the trail with the lake and Towers in the background. The single track eventually ends and the trail becomes a mix of fast double track and fire breaks with a couple of climbs. There are some sections of trail where you might have to walk around some bogs depending on how much rain the park has received. In the first 10K we will also find some fallen trees, small streams and sinuous trails; this is the most technical part of the route. The trails smooth and flow offering enough elevation changes, a few jumps and a few short steeper sections to keep riders from intermediate to advance entertained.

Paine's magnificent landscapes will make the ride all the more enjoyable. The second part of the ride provides more stunning views with some open and exposed areas with almost no cover.

At the end of our biking adventure, a transfer will be waiting to take you to your next destination the comfortable Hosteria Las Torres, where after packing a day pack you will start hiking the famous W trail. Starting with a steep ascent the trail then evens out as you hike up through the Ascending Valley and finally arrive at your next destination, Refugio Chileno which is set below the imposing peaks of the Towers themselves. The hike is steep for most of the way offering you great views of the Ascending Valley and the Towers in the distance.

Bunk bed accommodation and all meals included in the refugio (drinks available at extra cost).
Biking
Days 2: Hike to the base of Towers and on to Los Cuernos
We will start very early this morning with a sunrise ascent to the Towers to see the famous alpen glow (weather permitting). Today's hiking is our most challenging but worthwhile as we climb to the Towers themselves. A round trip hike, we will climb up through beautiful old growth beech forests to a rock moraine just under the towers. A steep final climb over the moraine will reward us with one of the most spectacular views in the park and weather permitting we will enjoy our last trail lunch at this amazing vantage point. Returning along the same trail we will follow a detour to Los Cuernos.

Your refugio tonight is located on the coast of Lake Nordenskjold and at the foot of the impressive Los Cuernos or Horns of Paine.

During the hike to Refugio Cuernos you will traverse Almirante Nieto and pass by the pristine turquoise waters of Lake Nordenskjold. You will have a few rivers to cross by hopping overs rocks and will also catch views of glaciers upon the mountain tops that are hovering over you. Finally you see the Cuernos themselves, monstrous razor sharp peaks of granite. You will spend the night in small cabins at the foot of the mountains after a breathtaking journey.

Accommodation in cabins, all meals included at the Refugio.

Days 3: Hike French Valley to Pehoe
Shortly after breakfast you will begin hiking towards Camp Italiano. This camp is just two easy hours away. You will trek across a windy beach and finally escape into the valley finding that the wind here is a little calmer. We will then be continuing into the famous French Valley.

You will hike across a moraine and through a forest until you finally come to a clearing. Here you will be blown away both by the wind and by the spectacular views of Lake Nordenskjold, Skottsberg and Pehoe behind you, the choking hanging glacier called the French Glacier surrounded by many of the peaks that make this Park so famous.

After leaving the lookout you will return by the same trail and then continue to Paine Grande where you will spend the night in the Refugio. Bunk bed accommodation and all meals included.
Enjoying the landscape
Day 4: Hike from Pehoe to Grey
After a restful nights sleep and an energizing breakfast you will be ready to hike again. Today you will have a short four hour walk through a small forest and then along Lake Grey. Most days this section of the park is windy, because of the openness provided by Lake Grey, Glacier Grey and the Southern Ice Field. After about two hours hiking you will get your first glimpses of the stunning Glacier Grey, the largest in the Park.

You will continue on for two more hours before arriving at Camp Grey. You will leave your things here and then continue for about one more hour hiking to get to Los Guardas view point where you will have an incredible view of the glacier itself.

After some time admiring the view you will take the same trail back for a well deserved rest in the comfortable Refugio Grey. Accommodation in bunk beds and meals in the refugio. All meals include, drinks available at extra cost.

Day 5: Kayak close to icebergs. Hike back to Pehoe.
Today's adventure starts at the beach of Grey Lake where our kayaks and specialized guides will be waiting for us. Here we prepare and distribute the kayaks before starting with the safety and paddling instructions. Our guides will help recommend the appropriate gear for the trip.

This kayak navigation has a duration of 3 hours, paddling through the floating iceberg-choked waters of Grey Lake close to the wall of a vertical towering valley glacier.
After this exciting and memorable morning we will enjoy a well-deserved lunch before we continue hiking down the beautiful forested trail towards Lake Pehoe.

Our destination is the large refugio situated by Lake Pehoe. Accommodation and dinner here at Paine Grande which offers dorm-style rooms with shared bathrooms. There is a bar, restaurant and small shop. All meals included.
Hike
Day 6: Bike to administration, transfer to Puerto Natales
After a good breakfast we will be reunited with our bikes. We will leave the turquoise waters of Pehoe Lake and the view of the Horns behind us to take the trail to the Administration Center of the Park.

There are some sections of the trail where it will be necessary to dismount - depending on winds and safety. There might also be some boggy sections along our ride, depending on how much rain the park has received. If there has been a lot of rain, there are areas of the trail where the erosion has caused interesting ruts and gulleys giving the more serious bikers some interesting terrain. After arriving into Las Carretas (campsite between Pehoe and Administracion) the trail goes flat until we reach our final destination beside the beautiful Serrano River where we will meet our transfer vehicle for the 90 minute transfer back to Puerto Natales. Breakfast and lunch only today.

* Optional Trip Extension: River Navigation with extra night at Hotel Serrano.

There is an option for those who wish to extend their adventure with a more restful but very beautiful excursion. This option includes a night in Hotel Serrano and a navigation by zodiac for an exciting down river journey out of Torres del Paine and through the pristine Bernardo O'Higgins National Park, the largest in the country. As we make our way down river through the fjords and forests of this part of Patagonia we can admire the views and variety of birdlife that inhabit these waterways. Arrive at the Serrano Glacier for a short walk before we board the cutter which will take us across Last Hope Sound back to Puerto Natales. En route we will be stopping for a traditional gaucho lamb BBQ at a stunning waterside estancia. Arrive into Natales at approximately 1800 hours. Trip ends in Natales.

Price for extension on request.
