The latter is the main newer building with 54 beds plus a restaurant, a bar, two lounge rooms, a souvenir shop and a small grocery store. This section of the lodge offers slightly better comfort and infrastructure than the older Refugio Torre Norte which is located close by with 64 beds, a bar and lounge room. All the meals are served at the Refugio Torre Central. Both offer dormitories with bunk beds, shared bathrooms (with toilets and hot showers) and separate bathrooms for men and women. UPGRADE to Hosteria Las Torres, price on request. This comfortable well located hotel was once the Cerro Paine ranch, an 8,000 acre ranch that breeds cattle. Now it is a comfortable hosteria with restaurant, bar, spa, stables, organic garden and gift shop. Standard, superior and suite rooms available.

A demanding, strenuous point to point hike, the famous Circuit takes in some of the very best scenery in Patagonia with its endless sea of ice, snow and glaciers. To complete this trail you should be in good physical condition and fit enough to hike for full days on varied terrain. Trails and mileage vary from day to day (refer to itinerary) but they are often rocky, steep and/or boggy and the section on the Pass involves a long ascent followed by a long descent which requires stamina. There are also some sections where it is necessary to navigate ladders and suspension bridges which can be made more challenging if the weather is bad. If you have a fear of heights, contact us for options. The trip is camping for the most part and you should be comfortable with travelling in remote areas. Our circuit hikes are fully supported and include porters so you will only need to carry a day pack. Your experienced English speaking wilderness guide will also be accompanied by a hiking assistant for larger groups and a cook at certain sites. All our circuit guides are experienced, trained mountaineers who will provide the safest and most beneficial experience leaving you free to enjoy the jaw dropping scenery and pristine wilderness scenery. Important Accommodation Note Joining this hike will involve travel in remote areas and the need to camp at Los Perros and Seron. Upgrades are available at other sites, refer to itinerary for details. We also use the Park refugios (shelters) along the trail which do not offer private rooms, rather you would sleep in dormitories with 4,6 or 8 people sleeping in bunk beds (most of which offer mixed rooms with men and women expected to share rooms). If you prefer to upgrade to private rooms, where available, let us know at the time of booking as these can be hard to secure especially during high season.
