Kayaking Tours in Chile
Sea kayaking is becoming more and more popular in Patagonia, and BlueGreen
is able to respond with a varied programme of kayaking tours
through the Torres del Paine and Bernardo O'Higgins National Parks in
Chile.
We were one of the first operators in the area to introduce sea kayakers
to these marvellous waterways, with our innovative three-day sea-kayaking
tour, which was part of our multi-activity Blue
Ice Trail. Today, we offer kayaking tours ranging from a quick half-day
paddle in Grey Lake to a wonderful six-day Chile kayaking tour. The latter
takes us from the banks of the Serrano River to the Serrano Glacier around
the back of Monte Balmaceda and up to the very end of the southern Patagonian
ice cap. It finishes with a boat connection to Puerto Natales.
We can arrange a private kayaking tour for a minimum of two clients
(four clients on six day kayaking tour). Some tours are half or full
day paddles that can be easily added onto a custom or scheduled itinerary
and some are longer taking you into virgin wilderness areas. Contact
us with as much information as possible about your requirements and
we will put together an itinerary for you.
Examples of Custom Kayaking Tours
An exciting kayaking adventure, covering 42 kilometres, from the Serrano
River in Torres del Paine through the Bernardo O'Higgins National Park
to Last Hope Sound in Puerto Natales. En route we will visit some of the
most spectacular and least-visited sights in the area and camp on silent
solitary beaches.

This longer journey follows a similar itinerary to the one above but continues
on to the fabulous Lago Azul for a night wild camping before hiking up
behind Mount Balmaceda. There we will visit a local hermit and enjoy this
beautiful, remote hiking country before paddling back down to the Serrrano
River, where we will join our catamaran journey back across Last Hope
Sound to Puerto Natales.
