Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Puerto Natales. Briefing. Night Hotel
Clients joining this trip can either arrive from el Calafate in southern Argentina or Punta Arenas in southern Chile. Bus tickets are included and we can make the reservations on your behalf.
On arrival in Puerto Natales you will be met off the bus by a member of the BlueGreen team before being taken to the BlueGreen office. After some tea and a briefing by your fishing guide you will be dropped off at your hotel.
You can choose from the central located contemporary Hotel If or the waterside, chalet-style Hotel Weskar.
After some time to relax and enjoy exporing the town and the area you will be escorted to dinner by your guide in one of the town's many fine restaurants.

Hotel Weskar
Day 2: Drive to Cerro Castillo. Afternoon fly fishing
After an early breakfast, we will be heading out alongside the waters of Last Hope Sound with the bobbing heads of the black necked swans to our left. Our base for the night is Hosteria el Pionero a comfortable hosteria situated with tree-lined borders on the pampas close to the outpost town of Cerro Castillo.
This converted estancia was once home to one of the most influential families in the area providing accommodation in the English style villa with high ceilings, wooden floors and spacious light rooms. Some rooms with fire places.
There will be a chance to unpack before we head out to one of the nearby fishing spots, probably Laguna Sofia. Full instruction will be given by your expert guide as you get your first taste of fly fishing in Patagonia's pristine waters.
After an afternoon's fishing, we will return to the hotel for dinner. Most of the food in this family run establishment is home produced.
All meals included (wine/drinks available at extra cost). All rooms en suite.

Hosteria el Pionero
Day 3: Morning fishing. Drive to Torres del Paine.
After breakfast, we will be heading out to one of the nearby lakes or rivers for more fishing in the area.
After a few hours fishing, we will enjoy a picnic lunch before starting our drive north towards the granite peaks of the Torres del Paine National Park. We will take the recently finished new road into the Park which skirts the beautiful and immense Lago Toro (the biggest lake in the Park). After an hour or so driving we will arrive at our accommodation at the Serrano River.
Time to unpack and enjoy the surroundings before heading out to the salmon-stocked waters of the nearby Serrano River for a beautiful afternoon's fishing.
Return to our accommodation at the Cabanas del Paine later that afternoon. Situated by the river, this lodge offers accommodation in comfortable riverside cabins with the restaurant and bar in a separate building. En suite rooms.

After a few hours fishing, we will enjoy a picnic lunch before starting our drive north towards the granite peaks of the Torres del Paine National Park. Serrano's Bounty
Day 4: Fishing Serrano River. Night Hotel Puerto Natales
After breakfast we will be heading out to the nearby Serrano River for more fishing. With his local knowledge the guide will advise on the best spots so we hope the morning will be a productive one.
Riverside lunch before joining our transfer vehicle for the drive back to Puerto Natales.
Today there is an option to take a beautiful horse ride out to a wilderness glacier. Riding out along the turquoise waters of the Serrano River, you can canter like a gaucho on the sandy river beach with incredible mountain views on safe, reliable horses. This ride is suitable for beginners.
After your morning fishing or riding we will take our transfer back to Puerto Natales returning to our comfortable accommodation in the lovely waterside hotel Weskar situated just outside town.
Enjoy a farewell dinner in one of the town's many fine restaurants such as the Cormorant de las Rocas with its delicious local specialities such as king crab.
