W Multisport Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Puerto Natales. Hike. Camp.
Trip starts in Puerto Natales.

Take transfer to Torres del Paine and the trail head at Las Torres. Start hiking the challenging trail to the base of the Towers.

Enjoy a packed lunch and the magnificent views before heading back down to the pretty campsite at Las Torres located in the woods with full facilities and hot showers.

Night camping with meals in refugio.

Lunch and dinner included (wine/drinks available at extra cost).

Start hiking
Day 2: Hike to Los Cuernos. Night Camping.
After breakfast, we will make our descent to the trail head and then continue walking west on the famous Paine W Trail to our very pretty campsite at Los Cuernos.

Night camping, meals in refugio.

All meals included (wine/drinks available at extra cost).

Upgrade options: sleep in Refugio Los Cuernos or splash out on a night in a private cabin with use of hot tub. Contact us for prices.


Beautiful Los Cuernos
Day 3: Hike into French Valley. Night Camping.
Hike along the shores of Lake Nordenskjold before making a ascent into the middle branch of the 'W' trail up into the astounding French Valley with its granite walls providing a natural cirque in which to enjoy stunning views.

Enjoy the scenery before returning to the trail and continuing to the beautiful Lake Pehoe which will be our base for the night.

Night camping, meals in refugio Paine Grande.

All meals included (wine/drinks available at extra cost).

Upgrade options: sleep in Refugio Paine Grande in either a simple bed with sleeping bag or full bed with sheets and blankets.


Stunning French Valley 
Day 4: Hike to Glacier Grey. Kayak. Night camping.
Continue hiking north to Glacier Grey and the small campsite located in the forest close to the glacier. We will set up camp before heading back to the lake where we will meet our specialist guide for a paddle out onto Grey Lake in kayaks.

After a safety briefing and instructions, we will head out onto the lake dodging the icebergs while we will enjoy dramatic views of the lake, glacier and surrounding mountains in the lovely afternoon light. Return to camp for night camping.

Upgrade options: sleep in Refugio Grey in either a simple bed with sleeping bag or full bed with sheets and blankets.


Paddle near glacier 
Day 5: Morning ice hike. Second night camping.
Today we will walk down to the lake and board a boat which will take us an hour or so to a small island in the middle of Grey Lake. From here we will continue on foot with our specialist guide until we reach the ascent point for our hike up onto the ice.

After donning crampons and listening to a safety briefing, we will spend time on the ice exploring the crevices and caverns that make up the glacier. Return to our waiting boat and return to our camp.

Exciting Ice Hike
Day 6: Grey II boat to lake shore. Night camping.
After breakfast and packing up camp, we will take the Grey II launch back across Grey Lake to the beach where after disembarking we will walk to our transfer vehicle for the short drive to the beautiful Serrano River and our camp site for the night.

Night camping, cook to provide meals.

All meals included (with wine with dinner).

Basic but comfortable cabin at Serrano River;
4* Hotel Rio Serrano in a superior room with views of the Paine Massif;
4* Contemporary Pampa Lodge in a room with views of the Paine Massif;

Grey Boat
Day 7: Board kayaks, paddle down river. Wild camp.
After a camp breakfast we will walk to the nearby Serrano River for our kayak safety briefing for the next leg of our trip which involves a paddle down river out of Torres del Paine and through the remote and pristine Bernardo O'Higgins National Park.

Day spent paddling down river (note there is a portage where we will need to carry our kayaks and associated equipment around a small waterfall).

Depending on the current and weather, the guide will choose a campsite for the night beside the river.

Night camping, meals prepared by a cook. No facilities.

All meals included (with wine at dinner).

Relax by the fire
Day 8: Continue kayaking. Meet boat. Return Puerto Natales
Continue paddling down river into the Bernardo O'Higgins National Park where we will arrive late morning and after hauling out our kayaks can walk to the nearby Serrano Glacier.

Meet Cutter for the return trip across Last Hope Sound to the quayside in Puerto Natales via an estancia where we will enjoy a delicious lunch.

Arrive at around 1800 hours. Trip ends in Puerto Natales. Breakfast and lunch included today.
