Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival. Transfer to La Esperanza
Arrive into Buenos Aires. Take a private transfer to Coronel Suarez by private air-conditioned taxi.
Depending on arrival time, we meet the ponies then take a tour of the Club before enjoying our first dinner at La Esperanza.
Dinner here is a late affair. We will join three generations of the Bertola family in the club dining room to enjoy delicious, simple meals prepared from locally produced meat and vegetables.
Enjoy an Asado Argentino, meltingly succulent steaks barbecued to perfection. Sit back, relax as you enjoy a glass of fruity Malbec.
Sleep soundlessly in your highly comfortable bed to prepare for tomorrow's polo

Accommodation:
Club accommodation comprises of luxury twin or double en-suite rooms. However, a 3 bedroom house is also available at additional cost.
Private villas for between 2 - 14 people can be arranged to accommodate larger groups.

Poolside at Esperanzall
Days 2-6: Polo Practice, Chukkas and Matches. Esperanza
After
meeting for breakfast, we warm up on the field with some exercise drills before
practicing our stick and ball skills. This is followed by a chukka practice.
We return to the clubhouse for a light healthy lunch before retiring for a siesta away from the heat of the Argentine sun.
In the late afternoon we return to the fields for either more practice chukkas or a polo match.
After a stimulating day on the fields and taking afternoon tea we retire to our comfortable accommodation. Relax on the eucalyptus-shaded 'quincho' (patio), in quiet rooms or swim some laps in the outdoor pool, enclosed by scented roses and lavender.
In the evening we take dinner in the clubhouse or at the quincho, where we can enjoy the charming company of the Bertola family.
Optional: During your stay we can offer you the unique opportunity to visit the family run La Catalina. This vast 4,000 acre estancia, an hours drive south, is set in the tranquil Sierra de la Ventana.
Join the ranchers as they work the ranch, herd cattle, or move horses. You may prefer to choose a relaxed trail ride into the hills where you can see guanacos, boar, deer, wild horses and possibly puma. La Catalina also run polo pony breeding programme. Learn how they raise future champions.
Note: As we are offering a genuine experience the daily activities vary depending upon the tasks necessary for the daily operations of the ranch.

Hours in the saddle: Approx 3 each day - longer if participating in ranch work.
