Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Cotswolds. Polo Lesson. Hotel

Arrive in the Cotswolds (either self drive, private transfer with driver, or train and pick up from the station).
After meeting our BlueGreen representative we transfer to the polo ground at Cirencester Park to meet with our polo instructor.
We start with a session on a wooden horse to practice polo swings and become acquainted with the different types of shots.
Moving onto the real thing we proceed to the pony lines to meet our polo ponies; fit, agile and responsive these ponies are famous for their ability to make quick turns and are a pleasure to ride.
We will enjoy a short briefing on horseback with an introduction to the correct style of riding including advice on neck reining for those not used to it. We will then enjoy our first two hour lesson with our experienced instructor.
Afterwards we can enjoy a glass of wine or a cold beer in the Club House before returning to our comfortable hotel.
Night in hotel according to requirements (hotel options below).
Included: Dinner
Barnsley House room
Day 2: Morning lessons. Rides out. Night in Hotel
After breakfast, we will drive to back to the polo ground for a morning of stick and ball practice with our instructor. The instructor will explain the different shots and depending on our ability, we will move through each one with further practice at different paces.
Following the lessons we will enjoy a light lunch at the Club House.
In the afternoon we will ride out in the elegant Cirencester Park. The captivating landscape offers plenty of opportunities for cantering along the wooded trails on the agile polo ponies, and small jumps allow for horsemanship practice.
Return to hotel for second night.
Dinner at leisure.
Included: Breakfast and lunch
Practice your swing
Day 3: Stick and Ball. Rides out. Night in Hotel
We return to the Cirencester Polo Academy for more stick and ball practice and a continuation of our tuition under the expert guidance of our instructor.
Afterwards we will take lunch in the Club House.
The afternoon affords further opportunities to enjoy spectacular rides out in the stately grounds with swift canters down wide oak lined avenues. There is time to take in the fine landscape gardens, views of The Mansion and the many follies dotted around the Bathurst Estate.
Return to your hotel for dinner at leisure.
Night hotel as above.
Included: Breakfast and lunch
Relax in the club house
Day 4: Lessons. Bell at Sapperton. Night Hotel
Today our morning stick and ball practice culminates in an exciting practice chukka. This will give us an opportunity to experience the speed and thrill of chasing the ball up the field whilst we manoeuvre our ponies into place to take that all satisfying shot. We will learn about rights of way, riding our opponent off and the rules of the game. Breathless from the experience we will return to the pony lines for a well earned rest and post match analysis with our team mates.

Ride out through the Parkland to the charming Bell at Sapperton for lunch then return to polo ground.
