We have developed some Patagonia Wildlife and Nature focussed itineraries that get you off the beaten path where wildlife and nature abounds. Guided by a local guide, experienced in these kinds of trips, they ensure you will be exposed to only the finest landscapes and best wildlife opportunities.

In Patagonia you will see Magellan woodpeckers going about their business, condors dining on fresh carrian for breakfast, guanacos frolicking with their young and even a possible sighting of the critically endangered huemul deer or the elusive but ever present puma.

Winter is a fantastic time to photograph the Patagonian landscapes which become magically cloaked in snow with clear blue skies and the jagged granite peaks lit by the low winter sun. BlueGreen Adventures is open all year and we can arrange guided trips at any time.

To give an idea of possible wildlife encounters in other parts of Chile, refer to our Atacama photography trip below. See flamingos in their natural habitat and watch steam plumes from the el Tatio geysers at sunrise. The Atacama offers some of the most famous night skies in the world and can be a great contrast to Patagonia. We can arrange an astronomy safari where you wrap up in blankets and star gaze in the company of experts with specialist telescopes.
