The W is Torres del Paine’s most popular trek, so called because of the ‘W’ shape formed when the route is traced onto a map. This trek gets you into the more rugged northern section of the famous Circuit trail where you will see three of the Park’s most dramatic glaciers; Dickson, Los Perros and Grey. Finish with a moderate walk to Pehoe’s turquoise waters before being whisked across Lake Pehoe aboard a catamaran. Or you can exit via the Grey Boat from Camp Grey.

Time needed: 5+ days
Board the Grey Boat to enter the W trail head at Grey Glacier before hiking to Lake Pehoe to meet the 30 minute scenic catamaran. Rejoin the catamaran the next morning and hike east along the W to the French Valley where, a little further along, your pretty private cabins at Los Cuernos await. Hike to the Hotel Las Torres for a night in this comfortable 4* hotel before the classic finale hike to the base of the Towers. Splash out with a celebratory night in one of Puerto Natales’ contemporary waterfront hotels.
