You will learn how horses communicate, how trust is built without force, and how observing horse behaviour can change the way we interact with them and each other. Topics include: reading horse behaviour; understanding equine body language; building trust and connection; and introduction to the gentling process.
The workshop is led by Denise Heinlein, one of the world’s most respected instructors in natural horsemanship.
Denise became a certified Monty Roberts instructor in 2009 and went on to serve as Head Instructor at the Monty Roberts International Learning Center in California, working alongside Monty Roberts for many years and assisting him internationally. She now teaches Monty’s natural methods around the world and leads certification courses in Europe.
Her work is built around Monty Roberts’ famous Join-Up® principles: developing willing partnerships through communication, trust and understanding rather than force. Denise has also been deeply involved in programmes using horses to support veterans, young people and those recovering from trauma through equine-assisted learning.
No previous experience in natural horsemanship is required.
