BlueGreen Adventures is a tour operator based in Patagonia, Chile. Run by the joint founders, Alec Quevedo and Lian Hayes, it's a small company, which has been organizing wilderness adventure travel in and around Southern Patagonia for over ten years. BlueGreen riding adventures were the first long riding expeditions in the Torres del Paine National Park. They continue to be the best known and most successful in the area.

The company started out with just one ride - the Glacier Ride. This pioneering adventure was designed to offer an unforgettable encounter with not only the astonishing landscape of the Torres del Paine National Park but also the people and wildlife that it sustains. Since then, the company has introduced other activities and trips in the same unique style as this popular ride. As well as riding trips, BlueGreen now offers fishing, kayaking, estancia stays, family holidays and trekking. Here is a sample of just some of the new trips.

Trekking Trips
BlueGreen is now the tour operator for three trekking trips in the Torres del Paine National Park.

The Wilderness Explorer is BlueGreen's interpretation of the famous Torres del Paine 'W' trek. This trip will take you to the 'W' starting point, not by bus, but by zodiac and boat, through the stunning waterways of the spectacular Bernardo o'Higgins National Park.

The Circuit is one of the world's greatest treks and BlueGreen concludes it with a night's relaxation, comfort and good food in El Pionero, a converted estancia.

The Lodge to Lodge includes a medley of some of Torres del Paine's popular short hikes and some less known ones too. Accommodation is in lodges and estancias, chosen for their stunning locations.

Our Philosophy
BlueGreen Adventures has evolved, but our philosophy remains the same. We still spend a lot of time researching new trails, riding and walking them and meeting local Patagonians. We still invest a great deal in local people and resources. Our baqueanos have been with us for years and are part of the BlueGreen family. Our guides are valued experts in their field. Our Criollo horses offer strength, willingness and honesty whether they are carrying clients or their supplies. And our clients, many of whom have become our friends, come back year after year because they know that a BlueGreen Adventure will always be unique, well planned, challenging and surprising.
