Day by day
- Collection from Bariloche. Depart Bariloche on Route 40 through foothills to Chubut River. Meet horses and settle in. Yurt/Cabin
- Day riding or hiking to visit small settlements in the Alto Chubut. Learn about the history. Yurt/Cabin. 4-6 hours in the saddle.
- Day riding or hiking to the high peaks. Lunch by lagoon and a walk above the snow line. Yurt/Cabin. 6-7 hours in the saddle.
- Morning ride with afternoon relaxing riverside or trying local style of fishing. Yurt/Cabin. 2-3 hours in the saddle. Afternoon return on Route 40 to Bariloche.

- Add on a few days exploring San Carlos de Bariloche reminiscent of an alpine ski town complete with chocolate boutiques on every corner and the magnificent Nahuel Huapa National Park, the oldest park in Argentina.
- Cross over to Puerto Varas in Chile via the Lake District on the scenic boat-bus combination that crosses a series of lakes and road sections

- This trip is suitable for moderate hikers and novice riders wanting to experience this magical corner of Patagonia and disconnect from the stresses of modern life. From your comfortable base the route and demands of each day of riding can be adapted to suit the level of the group. There are opportunities to explore the wonders of this corner of northern Patagonia on foot or by horse with time to rest beside the beautiful Chubut River enjoying the silence of the place.
- A stay here can be arranged on request for 3+ nights and it is suitable for children of all ages (ask us for child discounts). It is possible to join an existing group or a private stay is possible where you would have your own guide and excursions tailored to you.
- The days are flexible and you can either ride, walk, relax, explore or try the local style of fishing making it a great option for families.
- Transfers, all meals (wine wine or beer at dinner), activities and lodging is included along with local guides who will take excellent care of you.
- Accommodation is available in yurts or a refuge, each warmed by a firewood stove and furnished in the traditional style to create a unique and homely experience for guests. The refuge is on the banks of the river in an isolated location with a warm and cosy dining room with kitchen where you will eat food cooked over the wood fire. There is no electricity or phone signal so this is an unplugged adventure. Emergencies are dealt with by sat phone and are handled with the considerable rescue experience of your hosts. Each yurt has wood floors, wood heating, a private bathroom and beds for 2-4 people. Their solid construction ensure a warm and comfortable rest after your activities in this beautiful part of Patagonia.
