Hi Lian,

I wanted to drop you a note to say HUGE thanks for designing and arranging our holiday last week in Argentina.  It was absolutely fantastic in every way!

The guides we had were excellent, the accommodation delightful and the experience unforgettable. 

From the beginning to the end of the week on our trip, we had banter, laughing and hundreds of photos to now look through and shortlist to make our holiday book and printing for frames….

It’s always easy when everything goes well, but you and the local contact dealt so well with our delayed flight, communication was first class that we managed to stay mostly stress free despite the challenges.

So – thank you!  When we come back to South America, we’ll be in touch again about Cordoba and of course, Patagonia.  A few other countries to visit in the meantime.

How would you rate your trip overall? 10/10

What stood out about the experience? Rubian was a great guide! Nice guy, interesting and we felt that he was really looking out for our best interests. Seems like he knows everyone in the park and that he loves what he does. Our driver Christian (?) was also very helpful!

Is there anything you would like to change? Not really. It was nice to have a variety of experiences including difficult hikes, easier hikes, the Estancia experience, a night in a refugio as well as a few nights in really nice hotels. I suppose that with active trips like this, it’s best to spend most all of the time outside of hotels but with the more expensive hotels, I think it would be good to have an itinerary that gives you more time at the hotel.

Did the trip meet expectations? yes

Would you travel with BlueGreen Adventures again or recommend us to friends and family? yes

Lian, it was amazing.  Rubian was an awesome guide.  Your itinerary was well thought out.  We really appreciated how you took the time to meet us and crafted an itinerary that was perfect for our skill level and interests.  Patagonia is spectacularly beautiful, with a diverse array of options for activities.

Travsessed Patagonia would not be possible without the support and help of our local team here in Patagonia @bluegreenadventures. They are incredible and make everything so easy and seamless.

We would give this trip the highest possible rating! It was truly a wonderful adventure. The beautiful, wild nature of Patagonia is hard to describe. From our first contact with BlueGreen Adventures in planning the trip all our questions were answered thoroughly and quickly.

Of course, the stunning scenery was a highlight. We were very fortunate to have some beautiful weather. It was great to have the first day at the Estancia to recover from travel. The hiking was stunning. Our guide, Rubian, was exceptional. He was knowledgeable, professional, and fun! We had never used a guide before, always did everything ourselves, but he made every transition and detail go so smoothly. His dedication and love of the land was always clear. And of course, our driver Cristian, was always there to pick us up.

The hotels were very nice and unique with excellent food. It would have been nice to maybe stay an extra day at the Hotel del Torres.

This trip went beyond our expectations. I would (and already have) recommended BlueGreen Adventures to our family and friends.

We are home now, unpacking and trying to settle back into regular life. I’m not sure I can adequately express how wonderful everything was – our experiences far exceeded our hopes and expectations in so many ways. Everything was so well planned and we appreciated all the attention to detail. Yes, please feel free to use the photos in your materials. We are so happy with all of them and can’t wait to get them printed for ourselves! What a bonus to have Carlos with us for our Grey Lake kayak trip. We look forward to the video when it is ready.

 The Hotel Simple was exquisite and the wedding ceremony and dinner were beautiful. We so appreciated all your additional touches – the flowers on the table, the candle, the bouquets. The whole evening was beyond comprehension. It filled us with peace and joy and contentment. What a way to begin married life!!

 The tour excursions were amazing – we saw such incredible scenery and met such wonderful people along the way. We returned from each one so energized from our new experiences and also exhausted from the activity! Success. Gabi and Patricio were personable, considerate, flexible, and just simply wonderful to work with. Thank you for your communication with us before and during the process and for all your efforts. We appreciate all that you did. When we each have shared our favorite parts of the trip, we can come up with highlights from every part of our time in Chile.  How amazing is that. As Gabi said upon our departure, “We leave with a bit of Patagonia in our hearts.”

Overdue…but sincere thanks for a remarkable trip to Patagonia and Torres del Paine National Park!! You are the BEST!!

 I consider our trip a spectacular success…even though I was not able to do the circuit.

My husband, Don, has hiked all over the world, and he was simply “blown away” (in the best meaning of the phrase) by the grandeur of the scenery on the circuit.  Of course, the Paso Gardner and Valle Frances were highlights for him, but he truly enjoyed the entire circuit.

 Our guides, Alejandro and Paula were wonderful ~ so professional, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Alejandro had to make some difficult decisions, but was able to have those inevitable “difficult conversations” with compassion.  He was an excellent leader.  Paulita was my constant companion, as well as Laura’s.  She was keen to make sure we had a great time, and thought of all kinds of alternatives.  She was always happy and full of energy and enthusiasm and excellent recommendations.

 The coordination and communication from your end, to make major, last minute, adjustments in our schedule was amazing, and much appreciated. All of our drivers ~ from Jonathan and his expert 4wheel drive from near Refugio Dickson, all the way to Puerto Natales ~ to all of the transportation  provided by the unique Puchi, and everyone in between…were excellent.  The coordination of transfers was seamless, and much appreciated.

 I wish I had planned an extra day in Puerto Natales…to explore around, and to meet you…at least Claudia, and to thank you in person. Our lodging arrangements were wonderful, too.  We had time to enjoy the lovely Hosteria Hielos in el Calafate.  El Calafate has about 10 times the population now, compared to when I was there in 2004! Even though Puerto Natales has grown, too, it seems to have retained some of it’s  original charm…not so touristy!

 Lian…thank you, again…for YEARS of patient communication, reassurance, and a wealth of information.  Your assistance has been most appreciated.

I first wanted to thank you both for the amazing trip you created for my family.  It exceeded our expectations in every way.  We are so appreciative of the professionalism, positive attitude and good nature of all your employees.  Rubian, Leo and Francisco are one of a kind individuals who consistently go above and beyond in every interaction.  My boys cried and were so sad after we had to say goodbye to Rubian on Friday.    All three need to be recognized as they are responsible for our wonderful experience.

Just wanted to let you know we are back safely at the Amerindia. The whole trip was amazing, Alejandro was fantastic (and very patient with our giggles and antics). We are all exhausted and going to bed. I will e-mail again with anything else I think of. Weather was also fabulous. Thanks for all your help in arranging, I will certainly be recommending Blue Green to any friends who inquire.
