Relax mind and body with yoga in Puerto Natales
Yoga under the expert guidance of Susan Steiger
Yoga holidays to exotic destinations and distant places are becoming increasingly popular, and with good reason. They enable you to take time out to focus on your body and your health while enjoying the rewards of travelling in a new culture and seeing new places.

BlueGreen Adventures has teamed up with Susan Steiger to bring you the first yoga/activity holiday set among the pristine beauty of southern Chilean Patagonia.

Susan Steiger, Yoga Master, is certified in Ayurveda and Yoga and Ayurveda and Nutrition. She has been teaching yoga in Puerto Natales - the end of the world since 2001.

Over the years Susan has dedicated herself to the practice of yoga in its many forms. She has travelled extensively through the Americas and is a frequent visitor to India and the Himalayas. She has also lived in an ashram in Guatemala. During this time she has discovered people practicing yoga in many different styles, languages and places.

"Yoga is everything; each day I am thankful for having discovered it in 1996. It has opened up my life to many special situations and has taught me to live life to the full. Through yoga my outlook has changed and my priorities have become very clear. To teach is my method of learning. To learn every day is what drives me, sharing my experience and my knowledge with different people."

Susan looks forward to sharing the pure air of Patagonia with you and guiding you through some of the five main principals of Hatha yoga. Today there are more and more books and ideas far from the classical concept of yoga. Some people need to open the body with elements from the Iyengar method, others like to be more dynamic as in a vinyasa 'hatha flow'. Susan is a classicist. The principals that form the basis of Hatha yoga are important throughout all yoga styles: proper exercise, proper respiration, proper relaxation, proper diet and positive thinking. Everybody needs to choose their style and everybody starts from a different place. The destination however is the same - unity in diversity.

Welcome to yoga in Patagonia.
